Aloo Kay Samosay Urdu English Recipe for Ramadan Iftar by Rida Aftab
Ingredients:
- Flour ½ kg
- Oil 10 grams
- Carom ½ tsp
- Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
- Salt as required
- For filling:
- Potato ½ kg
- Finely Chopped Onion 1
- Green Chili 6
- Green Coriander ¼ bunch
- Mint Leaves ¼ bunch
- Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
- Chopped Coriander 1 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds 1 tbsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt as required
Method:
- • First of all in a dish add ½ kg flour. Mix all the ingredients into flour and knead.
- • Leave it for 15 minutes.
- • Now boil ½ kg potatoes and chopped finely.
- • In a frying pan heat oil and add salt as required, 1 tbsp red chili powder, ½ tsp turmeric, ¼ bunch green coriander and 1 tbsp cumin seeds. Cook and sauté.
- • Add Potato along with green powder, mix well and turn off the flame.
- • After this make small paira from the kneaded flour and pour the filling into the paira.
- • In the end heat in hot oil.
- • Delicious Aalo kay Samosay is ready to serve
